Beth Hart is simply the best blues and rock singer-songwriter performer of her generation (Gen X). No one even comes close to her talent. Her abilities as a singer are literally otherworldly and she is an extremely talented pianist and lyricist. She is often compared to Janis Joplin but is far better than Joplin ever was. Check out her Kennedy Center Honors performance with Jeff Beck of "I'd Rather Go Blind" on youtube. It is jaw-dropping. No wonder it got a standing ovation.
